As a Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) & Sustainable Packaging Compliance Intern, you will play an essential role in supporting our Global Sustainable Packaging team in meeting upcoming regulatory requirements, particularly the EU PPWR. This position offers a hands‑on opportunity to contribute to our company’s transition toward more circular, compliant, and environmentally responsible packaging solutions. This Internship Offers Exposure to EU packaging regulations and how large companies prepare for PPWR compliance. Insight into corporate sustainability, packaging innovation, and circular economy implementation. Hands‑on experience with real packaging portfolios, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The opportunity to contribute to meaningful environmental impact within a global organization.
What you´ll do
- Assist with regulatory research, interpretation, and implementation of PPWR and other environmental requirements
- Support packaging data collection, validation, and compliance analysis, including recyclability, materials, and gap assessments
- Prepare documentation, dashboards, and reporting materials for internal stakeholders
- Facilitate internal communication, training preparation, and knowledge‑sharing on PPWR and sustainable packaging
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives and provide support in project management and internal workstreams
What makes you a good fit
- Student studying sustainability, packaging technology, materials science, environmental engineering, or a related field
- Previous internship experience in sustainability, packaging, compliance, or consumer goods is advantageous
- Fluent in English language, with strong communication and organizational skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to quickly learn new systems; experience with SharePoint, project tools or dashboards is an advantage
- Ability to interpret regulatory and technical texts, analyze packaging data, identify gaps, and work confidently with structured data such as Excel or Power BI
- Structured and proactive working style with strong prioritization and attention to detail, paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing clear summaries, presentations, and reports
- Available as of July 2026 for six months

We offer you an attractive salary between € 1050-2270. The exact amount of the remuneration depends on the desired duration, the type of internship (voluntary or mandatory) and existing degrees.
