About this position
What you´ll do
- Support the technical team in identifying and analyzing process inefficiencies within biological and chemical‑physical treatment plant
- Collect, organize and interpret operational and performance data from the plant.
- Prepare weekly and monthly summaries of key process indicators (KPI) related to treatment efficiency, reagent consumption, energy use, and sludge production.
- Update dashboards, reports and monitoring tools related to plant performance and improvement actions.
- Support engineers in problem‑solving activities, contributing with analytical insight and data‑driven evaluations.
- Participate in technical meetings and daily/weekly reviews by reporting findings, highlighting deviations and suggesting improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of process simulations, mass balances, and feasibility assessments for optimization projects.
- Collaborate in the standardization of procedures, documentation updates and technical guidelines.
- Support the preparation of technical presentations, internal training materials, and communication related to improvement initiatives.
What makes you a good fit
- Master’s Degree or ongoing studies in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Biotechnology, or related fields.
- Understanding of biological and chemical‑physical wastewater treatment processes (even at academic level).
- Strong analytical mindset and interest in data analysis and process optimization.
- Flexible attitude toward new technologies and digital tools for data management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Goal‑oriented approach and strong problem‑solving mindset.
- Fluent in English.
- Good knowledge of MS Office package, especially Excel.
