History of Türk Henkel

1963
Türk Henkel is established at Şişli Bomonti in order to produce textile and leather chemicals

1964 
Türk Henkel established Gebze plant

1972 
The first R&D department of Turkey is established

1973
Turkey’s first dishwashing detergent Pril was produced

1976
First softener of Turkey; Vernel was launched to the market

1981
Turkey’s first multi purpose cleaner Dixi is launched

1987
First waste water treatment facility of İzmir is established

1997
Türk Henkel and Turyağ managements were merged

2000
Henkel continued its operations under the name of Türk Henkel in Turkey

2001
Tuzla plant opened.

2007
Divestment of Branded and Professional Oil business in Turkey
PU Foam facility started at Tuzla plant.

2008
Henkel moved its Laundry and Home Care plant located in Izmir to Ankara
Persil and Tursil have been the first concentrated detergents of the Turkish laundry market

2010
Turkey’s first gel detergent for both white & colored   garments – Persil -  has been launched
